Indoor Soccer League
The TNSC Indoor Soccer League (ISL) is our signature winter program, running every year from December to March. It provides a high-energy, competitive environment for our community to stay active and connected during the colder months.
League Format
The tournament is designed as an inter-club competition where players are divided into four teams. The season consists of a regular league phase followed by high-stakes playoffs to determine the winter champions.
Igloo: MLS Arena
Starting in 2025, all ISL matches move to the MLS Arena. This top-tier facility ensures a professional playing experience and a great atmosphere for both athletes and supporters.
ISL is more than just a sports competition; it is a platform for community awareness. Every year, we use our league to share vital messages with this generation and the next.
ISL-2026: Peak Performance
The 2nd TNSC Indoor Soccer League is about the game we love and the planet we need to protect. This year, we focused on raising awareness about Global Warming and glaciers melting. To keep this mission in our minds, we named our four teams after the most famous mountain peaks in the world:
-
Team Annapurna
-
Team Dhaulagiri
-
Team Makalu
-
Team Kanchenjunga
Playing every Saturday at the MLS Arena in Toronto, these names reminded us that we must work together to save our environment. Every goal was a tribute to the majestic mountains we want to preserve for the future.
Season 2 Results
It was a season of high energy and great sportsmanship. Here is how the teams finished:
-
League Leaders: Team Dhaulagiri was unstoppable this year. They held onto 1st place from the very first week to the last, never dropping their position. Team Annapurna also played a strong season to finish in 2nd place.
-
The Big Final: The playoffs brought the most excitement of the year. In a tense final match, Team Dhaulagiri beat Team Makalu to lift the trophy and become our Season 2 Champions!
Congratulations to all the players! You played excellent soccer and helped us spread a vital message about protecting our glaciers and our world.
ISL-2025: Flow with Nature
The TNSC-ISL is a place where we enjoy football and take action for the environment. Our mission is simple: we want to remind everyone to protect our water and stop pollution. By taking care of our lakes and rivers today, we make sure that our children and grandchildren have a healthy world to live in.
To celebrate this, our teams are named after four famous lakes: Rara, Tilicho, Shey Phoksundo, and Phewa. Playing with these names at the MLS Arena reminds us that whether it is the lakes back home in the Himalayas or the water here in Ontario, keeping it clean is a job for all of us.
Season Highlights
We had a great season with lots of energy on the field! Here are the big winners:
-
League Winners: Team Shey Phoksundo played well all winter and finished in 1st place.
-
Playoff Champions: The final match was very exciting! Team Phewa beat Team Rara 3-1 to win the championship trophy.
-
Final Hero: Sagar Shrestha had an amazing game, scoring a hat-trick to help his team win.
