Make it simple, The Vectren Cup, launched in 2025, is the Toronto Nepalese Sports Club’s annual summer tournament. Designed to bring the Nepalese community together through sports, it has quickly become a highlight for athletes and the football community across the GTA.
With its first season successfully completed, the tournament has already shown strong potential, bringing competitive matches, energetic crowds, and a growing sense of unity. It is shaping into a tradition the community will look forward to in the years ahead.

Tournament Wrap-Up: An Instant Classic

The 1st Vectren Cup final was an exciting match that captured the attention of the entire GTA soccer community. While seven elite teams competed in the tournament, the final came down to an intense battle between Himalayan Dynamos - Red and TNSC - Rec, Red.

Both sides played with incredible heart and skill. It was a very close game, as neither team wanted to give up an inch. By the end of regular time, the score remained locked at 1-1.

To decide the champion, the game went to a penalty shootout. In the end, Himalayan Dynamos - Red stayed calm under pressure, scored the winning goals, and took home the trophy. It was the perfect start to our new annual tradition, proving that the love for football only grows stronger with age!
